After a bit of group discussion, the relationship bar is the highest between Ellie and this man, Raaj Kapoor. And literally who can blame her. He's very attractive.
Raaj was made by someone on the gallery called BrownieetheGoat. A lot of the sims from other creators were tweaked a bit to add skin details and to deal with any issues of not having the clothes/hair from a certain pack, so the original might look a bit different.

Against my better judgment, I have Ellie ask Raaj on a dinner date, since she's hungry.
This is a restaurant I made for Willow Creek called Mariani's. I will not be showing the exterior because it's bad.
Off to a good start with Raaj immediately standing up as soon as we get our table.

Don't mind that there's a random pile of trash in the entrance now.
Holy shit, we actually got our food.
Last time I tried to do a restaurant in this game, we had to leave at like 3 AM without getting our food because I didn't want my sims to freeze to death on the patio.
Ehh... you're kind of supposed to sit while you're eating, Ellie, but I'll rate this trip to the restaurant a success overall.

Despite the steak fiasco, it was a nice date.

The welcome wagon finally decided to come early the next morning, which I'd completely forgotten about since Ellie's been here a few days already.
This is the rat cult that lives just up the hill from us. No big deal. Nothing to worry about. I imagine they're not thrilled that we're next door lowering the property values.

Decided to also invite Raaj and grill him some fruit to make up for the steak thing. I think it would be nice if the sims that weren't in your household could order for themselves. :/

So now that he's part of the family, here's a better picture of Raaj. In addition to being a vegetarian and a foodie, he's adventurous. Which is good because we're going to be exploring Granite Falls. He's also got the Essence of Flavor trait because he wants to be a chef.
This one is Purnima. Her only trait right now is being evil. Since their names are similar, I remember which one is which by thinking of PURnima and PURgatory. Because she's evil.
And Prunita is a music lover.
We have some kids to take care of and only one tent to sleep in, at the moment, so I have to get to work building a house now.
