Welcome

The Mendeleev Legacy is something I started about... fifteen years ago? It's been a while. The original idea was that I would make a legacy (that's a family played continuously over multiple generations, usually with a goal to hit ten generations for anyone not in the know) where each child was named after an element in the periodic table. I managed to hit ten generations with the original family, and something close to an additional ten beyond that, but with college and computer issues I never actually managed to hit the fabled 118.

And then everyone was moving on to Sims 4 while my family was on Sims 3. I've played the new game off and on for a bit, but there's now a ton of packs I haven't really explored. And even in the older packs I keep learning there are things I didn't know about. Then I found the pack legacy by rossanatxt, which fixes both my problems. A challenge that features the gameplay of each of the packs so I can figure out what I'm even doing. And a ton of packs = a ton of generations = a ton of babies to get us to 118, Oganesson.

You can find a chapter index, family tree, and the rules I'm using at the tabs up top, or start here.

The Save

I'm playing in a very modified save file; essentially it started with me deciding I would make an entire save for myself. And then community lots were hard to make and I really wanted to play. So Willow Creek is something I pretty much remade (save a couple community lots) and the other worlds have a handful of families I've added, mostly from my different D&D campaigns. The other worlds have a bunch of lots and families from the gallery; if any of them are featured in the legacy I'll try to shout out the creators.
